Hudson Valley Mental Health is a private, voluntary, not-for-profit community organization. Its mission is to provide comprehensive and integrated services to meet the mental health needs of the community.

In carrying out this mission, Hudson Valley Mental Health strives to ensure that services are accessible, affordable, cost-effective, recipient-oriented, culturally sensitive, and dedicated to continuous quality improvement.

An interdisciplinary approach to treatment is utilized that involves collaboration by various professionals including New York State licensed social workers, board certified psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and a professional and caring administrative support staff.

HVMH operates five New York State licensed outpatient mental health clinics that provide a full array of therapeutic services to adults, seniors, and families. Services are available to everyone in need, regardless of insurance or income. These services include individual or group therapy, medication, and medication management.
